When you book The Girls' Weekend, the entire Hideaway is yours. No other guests. No strangers in the hot tub. No sharing the gardens with a family of six you've never met. Just your group, the gates closed behind you, and a whole site of little corners to discover together — the Shebeen with its pool table and karaoke, the covered hot tub, the fire pit, the fairy gardens, and An Bothan for movie nights, games or a private party.
It's the kind of weekend where the bride-to-be actually relaxes, where the group that hasn't been together in years falls back into old rhythms, and where nobody's watching the clock. Fifteen minutes from Derry if you want a night out — but most groups tell us that once they arrive, they don't want to leave.

Make a weekend of it
Half the fun is filling the weekend, and we can help you do it without leaving the site or lifting a finger to organise it.
· Muff Liquor Company — we've partnered with the multi-award-winning distillery just five minutes down the road. Groups staying with us get a discount code for distillery tours and cocktail-making classes. Ask us for the code when you book.
· Paint, Pass & Prosecco — a relaxed painting session with a glass in hand, set up in An Bothan. A lovely afternoon for a hen group or a milestone birthday.
· Yoga or pilates morning — we can arrange an instructor to come to you, in An Bothan or out in the gardens. The perfect gentle start (or recovery) the morning after.
· Reflexology treatments — a reflexologist can come to the site and give treatments on request. Pure relaxation, right where you're staying.
· E-bikes to your door — Inishowen Bike Hire will drop their e-bikes to The Hideaway once you've booked with them, so you can explore the peninsula and the greenway straight from the gates.
· Catering, a private chef, a beauty therapist for a pamper morning, or a cocktail masterclass — all easily arranged. Just tell us what you'd like when you enquire.

Girls' Weekend FAQs
Is the whole site really just for us?
Yes. When you book The Girls' Weekend you have exclusive use of the entire Hideaway — all four pods, the Shore House, the hot tub, the Shebeen, An Bothan and the gardens. No other guests, no sharing. Pat and Gráinne don't live on site, so once you arrive the whole place is genuinely yours.
How do we split the rooms?
The Shore House sleeps 8 (two doubles upstairs, plus a downstairs room with a double and a double sofa bed). The four pods each sleep up to 3 (king-size bed plus a single). Lots of groups put the bride or birthday girl in the Shore House and spread everyone else across the pods. We're happy to help you work out the best split.
Can we decorate and bring our own drinks?
Absolutely — that's what makes it yours. The Shebeen is a BYOB bar, so bring whatever you like. Decorate the Shebeen, An Bothan or the pods however you want. The only ask is that we leave the place as we find it.
Can we get experiences or catering sorted?
Yes — we work with local caterers, private chefs and beauty therapists, and we can arrange a Paint, Pass & Prosecco session, a yoga morning, e-bike hire or a special rate on a distillery tour at the nearby Muff Liquor Company. Just mention what you'd like when you enquire.
What's the minimum stay?
Two nights, year-round. Most girls' weekends are Friday to Sunday.
How far is Derry if we want a night out?
Fifteen minutes by car. Close enough for a night out in the city, far enough that you come back to total quiet. Plenty of groups do one night out and one night in around the fire pit and the Shebeen.
