With three excellent golf clubs less than 30 minutes away and two of Northern Ireland's most celebrated links courses approximately an hour from your accommodation, you can enjoy a different golfing experience each day.

North West Golf Club — 22 minutes

Located near Buncrana on the shores of Lough Swilly, North West Golf Club offers traditional links golf in a spectacular coastal setting.

Greencastle Golf Club — 24 minutes

Overlooking Lough Foyle, Greencastle Golf Club offers beautiful scenery and an enjoyable golfing experience on the Inishowen Peninsula.

Fancy a pint on draught? The Shebeen now has two beer taps installed by local supplier Tap n Pour. Guests can arrange kegs directly with Tap n Pour for their stay, with pricing and payment handled by the supplier. We're happy to put you in touch.

There's also a covered seven-person hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a day on the fairways, and the Wee Céilí House with its open fire and pizza oven for relaxed evenings together.

A beautifully restored three-bedroom house featuring two upstairs double bedrooms and a downstairs double bedroom with an additional double sofa bed. The house also offers a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living areas and a sunroom overlooking Lough Foyle.

Four Cosy Glamping Pods — Sleep up to 12

Each of our four individually named pods sleeps up to three guests, with a king-size bed and a separate single bench bed. Perfect for smaller groups within your golfing party who want their own sleeping space.

Your group also enjoys exclusive use of the Shebeen, covered hot tub, Wee Céilí House, communal kitchen and bathroom facilities, gardens and An Bothán function room.

The Hideaway accommodates up to 20 overnight guests across our three-bedroom Shore House and four glamping pods. The entire property is available for exclusive group hire, meaning your golfing party has all the accommodation and facilities to yourselves.

Is The Hideaway close to Ballyliffin Golf Club?

Yes! Ballyliffin Golf Club is approximately 26 minutes away by car. We are also conveniently located for North West Golf Club (22 minutes) and Greencastle Golf Club (24 minutes).

Can we stay at The Hideaway when playing Royal Portrush or Portstewart?

Absolutely. Royal Portrush Golf Club and Portstewart Golf Club are both approximately an hour's drive away, making The Hideaway a great base for groups planning to play courses across Donegal and Northern Ireland.

Can we have draught beer in the Shebeen?

Yes. The Shebeen has two draught beer taps installed by Tap n Pour. Guests can arrange keg supply directly with Tap n Pour, and we're happy to introduce you to Kyle, who can provide prices and availability.

Can we arrange catering and transport?

Yes. Your accommodation is self-catering, but we can provide contact details for independent local caterers, taxi and minibus operators. All services are booked and paid for directly with the suppliers.

Are there single beds for golfers who don't want to share?

Each glamping pod has one king-size bed and one separate single bench bed. The Shore House has three double bedrooms and an additional double sofa bed. The king-size beds cannot be separated into twins, so we recommend checking sleeping arrangements before booking.

Is there a minimum stay?

We generally operate a two-night minimum stay for weekend group bookings. Longer stays and midweek golf breaks are also welcome, subject to availability.
