Forget splitting your group between hotel rooms. Here, everyone stays together, with exclusive use of your own private Shebeen, covered hot tub, Wee Céilí House, An Bothán function room and enchanting gardens.
The Shebeen is often the heart of the weekend, complete with a pool table, darts, karaoke, smart TV, wood-burning stove and two draught beer taps installed by Tap n Pour.
Fancy having kegs for your stay? We can introduce you to Kyle at Tap n Pour, who'll provide prices and arrange your order directly. Guests book and pay the supplier themselves.

Forget crowded hotel bars. At The Hideaway Muff, your stag group has exclusive use of its very own traditional-style Irish Shebeen — the perfect place to gather, have a laugh and enjoy a few drinks together.
With a pool table, dartboard, karaoke machine, smart TV and cosy wood-burning stove, there's plenty to keep everyone entertained without ever leaving the property.
Fancy pulling your own pints?
Our Shebeen now features two draught beer taps installed by Tap n Pour. If you'd like kegs for your stag weekend, we can put you in touch with Kyle at Tap n Pour, who'll provide prices and arrange your order directly.
Kegs are entirely optional, with orders and payments handled directly between guests and Tap n Pour. You're also welcome to bring your own drinks.
And when it's time to unwind, head to the covered hot tub or gather around the fire in the Wee Céilí House for a more relaxed evening.

The Shore House — Sleeps up to 8
Our character-filled 1895 Shore House has three double bedrooms, an additional double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living areas and a sunroom overlooking Lough Foyle.
Four Glamping Pods — Sleep up to 12
Tucked into our enchanting gardens, Rowan Tree, Cherry Blossom, Sleepy Lavender and Daisy Chain each sleep up to three guests, with a king-size bed and a separate single bench bed.
Exclusive Use of the Entire Property
Your booking also includes the private Shebeen, covered seven-person hot tub, An Bothán function room, Wee Céilí House, communal kitchen, shower and toilet facilities, and gardens.
With everything in one private location, your group can enjoy the weekend together without sharing facilities with other holidaymakers.
Please note that the king-size beds cannot be separated into twins, so we recommend checking sleeping arrangements with your group before booking.

Can we book The Hideaway exclusively for a stag weekend?
Absolutely! The Hideaway Muff welcomes stag groups looking for private accommodation in Donegal. Your booking includes the entire property, with no other holidaymakers staying on-site.
How many people can stay for a stag weekend?
The Hideaway sleeps up to 20 overnight guests across the Shore House and four glamping pods. The Shore House sleeps eight, while each pod sleeps three. Please note that most beds are doubles or king-size beds, so we recommend checking sleeping arrangements with your group before booking.
Does The Hideaway have its own private bar?
Yes! Our Shebeen is exclusively yours during your stay. It features a pool table, darts, karaoke, smart TV, wood-burning stove and two draught beer taps installed by Tap n Pour. Guests are welcome to bring their own drinks.

How far is The Hideaway from Derry's nightlife?
We're approximately 15 minutes by car from Derry city, making The Hideaway a convenient base for groups planning a meal, drinks or a night out. We can share details of local taxi and minibus providers.
Can we arrange catering or stag activities?
Of course! We're happy to introduce you to independent providers offering catering, activities, entertainment and group transport. All optional services are booked and paid for directly with the relevant suppliers.
Is the hot tub included?
Yes. Your group has exclusive use of our covered seven-person hot tub. It is available until 10 pm, in accordance with our house rules.
What is the minimum stay for stag weekends?
We generally require a two-night minimum stay for weekend bookings. Longer stays and midweek bookings are also welcome, subject to availability.
Can we bring dogs?
Small, non-shedding dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, with a maximum of two dogs per booking and a charge of €25 per dog per stay. Dogs must be kept off beds and furniture, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them.
